I love this! I have found, in order to do my best writing, I cannot focus on the writing itself. By enriching myself through life's wonders - crafts with my son, a walk outside, exercising, reading - writing flows seamlessly.

Yes!! Human connections are so important! And I believe as you said, when we step out of our heads and into our hearts that’s when the magic happens!

And, don't we all love a little magic in our lives.

I love this post Kathy! And so agree: β€œInspiration often flows effortlessly when we release control and shift our focus.” I often find a walk in the woods does the trick for me.

Thank you Holly. I love a walk amongst the trees too. And I don't go often enough. I think I better change that.

Life in all it's bigness beckons us to be and do and choose and rejoice and take 1 step at a time.

Your post, Kathy, reminds me of an Ojibwe saying I have held dear for decades: "I go about in such self-pity for my life when all the while a great wind is bearing me across the sky."

Witness! The great wind.
