One beautiful autumn day, my business friends and I decided to go forest bathing. It's an activity that involves walking, which initially made me feel uneasy due to my mild COPD. Physical activity can be a challenge for me, especially since I'm overweight, leaving me feeling exhausted and often unwilling to exercise. However, I put my inhibitions aside and said YES!
What I came to discover was that the essence of forest bathing lies in its emphasis on slowing down. It was a truly magical experience as I took in the sunbeams shining down through the trees and felt the soft moss beneath my fingers. The sounds of birds filled the air as we reached the top of a small hill, and to my amazement, I wasn't even winded. By practicing mindfulness and taking it slow, I was able to be completely present in the moment, feeling fully alive and rejuvenated, without ever losing my breath.
My experience made me realize the significance of mindfulness and how it can be a valuable addition to my self-care routine.
I invite you to pause for a moment and get ready to explore your senses this week. Allow your heart to lead you to the snack that brings you the most joy.
To wrap up this week's newsletter, I leave you with some parting words from Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn.
Wishing you all a mindful week ahead!

I love to sit in a bath with a cup of tea and do a candle meditation. Go big or go home? ;)
Thank you for sharing these with us. These are all beautiful suggestions.
