I have been drifting back in time through your writing. My bus trip with people from highschool through Italy had several of the same dynamics though people who were not friends at the start were still not friends when we returned but that's highschool for you.

I have never traveled with strangers, yet, I have connected with people through a retreat or a short adventure, so much so, that they become part of the fabric of that experience. It was a bit of a shock being thrown on a bus with 40 people, but ended up to be an amazing experience.
