I’m Kathy — a retreat creator, gentle guide, and gatherer of women.
I deeply believe in the power of slowing down, creating beauty, and reconnecting with what matters. For years, I’ve supported women through seasons of change, weaving stillness, creativity, and connection into the spaces I hold.
But more than anything, I’m someone who’s learning-alongside you-how to live with more heart and less hurry.

What brought you here?
I wanted to retire my website but still write newsletters. I researched newsletter platforms like mailchimp and others but it didn’t feel like what I wanted.
What season of life are you in?
Mama of a 5yo boy entering school age! I’m researching all things homeschool right now.
What’s been lighting you up—or weighing you down?
Light: writing! This year my brain has been crazy inspired and I have so much to write about. I signed my first publication contract a few months ago to write a chapter in an anthology on the divine feminine. Also, community lights me up. I’ve been noodling on it for years and mostly rejected the idea after my dad died early 2024 - getting to know strangers felt too vulnerable. But I’m back at it and meeting some wonderful ladies on Substack who I hope to collaborate with!
What are you dreaming about for this next chapter?
Riding the wave of momentum! I have no idea where it will lead but I’m excited!
I love the idea of this publication! The name alone screams "SLOW DOWN" (as if screaming is ever part of gathering and pausing).
What season of life are you in? >> A weird season. A 50s season. A season where I KNOW I need to change my environment and I'm trying to figure out how to get there.
What are you dreaming about for this next chapter? >> A cottage-y type home near water and a peaceful existence. Plenty of baggage towing behind me but it's time to cut it loose.
