The Decision-Making Rollercoaster
How a rollercoaster ride led to the importance of collaborative decision-making.
Hello friends,
I feel a little confused, a bit unsure.
Not knowing exactly where I’ll end up.
For someone whose past was dictated by knowing the outcome.
I have fleeting moments of uncertainty, maybe even doubt.
Yet, I know–I must trust the process.
Climb on, strap yourself in—you’re about to go on the ride of your life.
It’s unclear exactly where I’m headed.
The path has a direction, though the twists and turns are hidden from view.
Each choice feels like a climb—click, click, click—up, up, up, weighing the possibilities, trying to see the horizon.
My decision-making process often feels like a mix of exhilaration, and oh so unpredictable.
I’m ready. Let’s go. It will be such a thrill.
At the top, it’s breathtaking: the view is endless, full of possibilities I hadn’t even imagined.
Before I can take it all in, we’re racing downward—fast and thrilling.
Committing to a decision, leaning into the unknown, it’s exciting, and a little terrifying.
So, what possibilities did I see at the top?
I saw another track next to me.
I was riding alongside my friends.
We were holding hands, supporting one another.
It was clear that together we can shape what’s around each bend.
After all, isn’t that what community is all about!
Your input, your ideas can help guide the direction of this wild, winding ride.
I’d love to know what you’re thinking. What would you love to see here on these pages? What do you need most right now?
Please take a few moments to answer this one important question. And, comment on this post to be entered for a chance to win a 3-month membership to my paid online retreat center when it’s launched in June.
Together, let’s build a community where collaborative decision-making is not only valued, it’s the norm.
Each bend is a surprise, each loop a test of trust—whether in my instincts, my creativity, or the track we chart together. This rollercoaster ride is where my decisions live: the highs, the lows, and every unexpected turn in between.
Thanks for coming along on the ride. Please feel free to share your view in the comments, or email me by pressing reply.

Seems we need more connection in these very hard and trying days. With being constantly boarded by the media it’s difficult to calm and center oneself around peace and community gatherings. Looking forward to your retreat in June.
Ah, when I saw the poll, I was like "I definitely need more stillness!" Then "oh, wait, it's probably more creativity that will help." So I told myself to listen in and be really honest and I ended up pressing the "more connection" option and seeing it's the majority of us.
It's weird though, because our world has arguably never been more connected. But we are really lacking the sustainable and nourishing connections which have been taken over by the fleeting moments of likes here and there
